What to wear during your PHOTOGRAPHY PHOTOSHOOT with
The Photo Element Photographers and Video Producers in El Paso, TX
After being a photographer and video producer for 10+ years, I can certainly provide some pointers and helpful ideas to make your engagement shoot the most romantic, fun, and exciting time.
Above all, wear well-fitted dresses, pants or blouses. Wear clothes that contour your silhouette, clothes that show your curvy lines and waist. These lines and curves will display beautifully in photography. It doesn't matter if you are underweight or overweight. All bodies are beautiful. Beauty is all in the mind. You set your standard of beauty and nobody else.
Well-fitted clothes will show your curves and beauty. Baggy clothes will hide your assets. If your goal is to hide, then baggy clothes are your choice. At the end of the day, we are here to make you feel and look beautiful, and your comfort is our priority.
Wear comfortable shoes. Shoes that you can walk and jump. If you regularly wear heels, then it's great. If you don't then, we suggest that you wear comfortable and sexy shoes.
You can always switch shoes for that sexy shot, yes use the shoes as a prop.
We will have you walk, jump, sit, and sometimes the parks have grass and mud, so your high heels might get buried in the grass or dirt. Unless you don't mind a little dirt in your shoes, then go for it!
If you feel beautiful, then you are beautiful. Your pictures will be a reflection of your mindset and feelings.
Just relax, and enjoy every single moment of the photoshoot and posing.
The pictures are yours. Nobody will see them other than you. You can share the images that you would like to share. We choose one or two for our website. Yes, we do have photographer's choice pictures that we showcase on social media. You are our model.
Loose hair is incredible, but be aware of the wind…..if we go to Transmountain Rd.,,, then your hair will be a flyaway….if that is the look you would like, then we love it. If not, then do a hairdo that will hold your hair in place during the photoshoot. You can always let your hair down for the second round of photography.
Post-production editing can be done, but we prefer to take care of the details right there to accomplish the end result. Depending on the post-production edits, there may be a small charge, so let's take care of the details on site.
Be aware of hair on your face, too glimmery jewelry. The sun may reflect and cause a patch of light in your picture. Also, glimmery lipstick can cause unwanted reflections. We suggest matte lipstick.
But most important, while conducting a photoshoot with The Photo Element Photographers and Video, we prefer that you are relaxed, comfortable, and in no hurry. Take your time for the photoshoot.
Schedule a time whereas you can feel relaxed, beautiful, and energetic.
Lastly, let's avoid the midday hours. The best light for photography is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. This being said, we can undoubtedly do a midday shoot. We work with our friend the sun to be our huge flashlight as well.
